Wooden Weasel Trap - 49 x 6 x 8 cm BOXTRAP

This weasel trap is perfect for capturing small animals: weasels, stoats, and rats. This trap is very selective as it only allows small animals to enter.

This trap does not necessarily require the use of bait; the animal usually enters the trap out of curiosity. These traps are very effective and harmless and can be placed almost anywhere (woodpile, barn, chicken coop, etc.).

Usage tips :

Dig the ground to create a slope. Place the weasel trap inside so that the platform follows the slope. The system is simple: when the animal enters the box, the platform tilts forward, the anti-return system then comes into action and prevents the platform from tilting backward, trapping the animal alive in the box.

Our advice :

This trap does not necessarily require the use of bait; the animal usually enters the trap out of curiosity. However, you can scent the box with a fragrant liquid bait (manure or rabbit urine) to increase the trap's effectiveness and attractiveness.
