• Tense the trap, taking care to protect your hands.
• Do not forget to put the security when arming it.
• Place a bait in the middle of the palette to increase your chances of capture. If the rat jaw trap did not catch within a few days, change the location or add food.
• Remember to tie the trap with a link to prevent the rodent from moving it if the catch is partial.
