UKAL LED fence tester

The fence tester shows you the fence voltage on its LED screen, with 10 display levels up to 10,000 volts. Easy to use, the KV fence tester works without an earth rod.

Instructions for use : 

Press the large red button once to perform your voltage test.
Then touch the back of the fence tester to your conductor (wire, cord, tape). To do this, simply hold the wide metal strip on the back of the tester against the conductive material and press the button. You'll then get feedback on the quality of your tension.

Voltage recommendations :

Over 2000 volts for easy to rear animals such as cattle, horses and pigs. 

Over 4000 volts for normal ground conditions.  Up to 1000 volts more in dry soil conditions - due to lower soil conductivity.
